# Seasons

NoF seasons are of the utmost importance in the game because they balance the rewards given, NFT mint cycles and the story’s progress in each collection. Every NoF season starts when the block of cards is minted. Inside this NFT block, the cards and albums for each edition are included. Every season also adds specific variations to the gameplay.

 For every edition, seasons are independent of each other and, as a general rule, have a minimum duration of one month. The end of a season is set when the stock of cards is depleted, ending the current season and starting a new one.
